In the fourth quarter of 2020, Excellence SA achieved sales revenue of PLN 13.7 million, an increase of 7.4% compared to the fourth quarter of 2019, which was due, among other things, to revenue from the sale of coronavirus detection tests and disinfectants. Sales revenue in the fourth quarter of 2020 amounted to PLN 667.2 thousand, a 253% increase compared to the fourth quarter of 2019, with a 3.7% increase in operating expenses. Net profit in the fourth quarter of 2020 amounted to PLN 391.9 thousand, a 40.6% decrease compared to the net profit achieved in the fourth quarter of 2019.

In the third quarter of 2020, Excellence SA achieved sales revenue of PLN 12.96 million, an increase of 9.5% compared to the third quarter of 2019. At one of the most important events for the bottling industry in Poland, our company received six awards in various categories. This is a significant distinction and confirmation of our high leadership position in the industry and the dynamic development of the brand. All awards are for our newest, organic product line – I am BIO.
This year’s Polish Beverage Congress took place from September 25th to 27th in Zawiercie. A record number of participants attended the event, confirming its prestigious nature and making it a permanent fixture in the beverage industry calendar. The aim of the meeting for representatives of companies involved in the bottling market is to present the latest trends and innovations in the production process and to promote modern solutions that have a real impact on environmental protection. Excellence presented products from its new line, including organic juices, drinks, syrups, radlers, orangeades, and mousses. The I am BIO brand was very well received and recognized, as evidenced by six awards in various categories.

In the second quarter of 2019, Excellence SA achieved sales revenue of PLN 10.9 million, a 19.9% decrease compared to the sales revenue in the second quarter of 2018. Signing of an agreement with a statutory auditor to audit the financial statements of Excellence SA
The Management Board of Excellence SA, with its registered office in Lipa (the “Company”), hereby announces that on October 15, 2018, it signed an agreement with EKO-Bilans Sp. z o.o., a statutory auditor based in Łódź, to audit the financial statements of Excellence S.A. for the 2018 and 2019 financial years. The Company used the services of this auditor for the same period from 2012 to 2017.

Second-Quarter 2018 Results
In the second quarter of 2018, Excellence SA achieved sales revenue of PLN 13.65 million, an increase of 22.7% compared to the second quarter of 2017. The increase in sales revenue was due to higher volumes of orders from retail chains and sales to food wholesalers, as well as the sale of goods – maple syrup imported from Canada. The net result for the second quarter of 2018 was PLN 88.2 thousand, lower than the result achieved in the second quarter of 2017, which was PLN 443 thousand. The second-quarter 2018 result is the result of the growth in Excellence SA’s syrup sales, including the expansion of the market into the traditional channel. The expenses incurred for this purpose were primarily related to increased payroll costs and external services.

Net profit in 2017 amounted to PLN 637,650, an increase of 14.6% compared to the net profit in 2016. The main factors affecting the 2017 result were the high costs of the main raw material, glucose-fructose syrup, used in the production of fruit syrups, and an increase in labor costs, which resulted from the increased costs of external services related to the production of syrups, as well as salary increases for employees. The results achieved by the company in 2017 allow for a positive assessment of the company’s financial situation.

Signing of the Project Funding Agreement
On March 14, 2018, a project funding agreement was signed under the “Supporting SMEs in Accessing the Capital Market – 4 Stock” initiative, concerning the development of documents that will be used in the issuance of shares and will allow for the introduction of a new share issue to the WSE market. The plan is to change the share market from the NewConnect market within the Alternative Trading System to the regulated market operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange. According to the project, the funding amount is PLN 406,700.00, with a funding level of 50% of eligible costs.

Changes in the Shareholder Structure of Excellence SA
On November 2, 2017, following the liquidation of Ciecierska spółka jawna, the company sold its Series A, B, and C shares of Excellence SA to the shareholders of Ciecierska spółka jawna, which was being liquidated. The shareholder structure of Excellence SA changed, and the company’s principal shareholders became: Marcin Ciecierski, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, who holds 63.35% of the company’s shares and 65.94% of the votes at the General Meeting of Shareholders, and Dariusz Polinceusz, President of the Management Board, who holds 27.21% of the company’s shares and 25.95% of the votes at the General Meeting of Shareholders.

First Quarter 2017 Results
In the first quarter of 2017, Excellence SA achieved sales revenue of PLN 9.99 million, an increase of 21.4% compared to the first quarter of 2016. The higher sales revenue resulted from the fulfillment of higher volumes of orders from retail chains in the first quarter of 2017 compared to the same period last year. Thanks to the higher sales revenue in the first quarter of 2017, operating profit in the first quarter of 2017 amounted to PLN 353,000, an increase of 131% compared to the operating profit in the first quarter of 2016. Net profit in the first quarter of 2017 amounted to PLN 313,000, an increase of 90.6% compared to the result achieved in the first quarter of 2016.

Financial Results for 2016
In 2016, Excellence SA achieved sales revenue of PLN 34,937.77 thousand, a 2.8% decrease compared to 2015. Net profit in 2016 amounted to PLN 556.27 thousand, a 68.7% decrease compared to the net profit in 2015. The main reasons for the lower net profit in 2016 are the increased costs of the main raw material, glucose-fructose syrup, used in the production of fruit syrups, and the increase in salary costs resulting from the increase in employment and salary increases for employees.

Q4 2016 Results
In the fourth quarter of 2016, Excellence SA achieved sales revenue of PLN 10.15 million, a 3.2% increase compared to Q4 2015. The level of completed retail orders in Q4 2016 was similar to the same period last year. Sales revenue in Q4 2016 amounted to PLN 479,000, a 15% increase compared to Q4 2015. Net profit in Q4 2016 was PLN 120,000, lower than the PLN 250,000 achieved in Q4 2015. After four quarters of 2016, Excellence S.A. achieved sales revenue of PLN 34,938,000, a 3% decrease compared to the sales revenue generated after the first four quarters of 2015. The net result after four quarters of 2016 amounts to PLN 616 thousand and is lower compared to the net profit achieved after four quarters of 2015, which amounted to PLN 1,775 thousand.

In the third quarter of 2016, Excellence SA generated revenue of PLN 7,450,000, down 28.6% compared to the third quarter of 2015. The lower revenue in the third quarter of 2016 compared to the third quarter of 2015 was due to lower orders from retail chains. As a result, the net profit for the third quarter of 2016 was PLN 5,000, lower than the PLN 896,000 achieved in the third quarter of 2015.

In the first quarter of 2016, Excellence SA achieved sales revenues of PLN 8,230,000, an increase of 25.8% compared to the revenues in the first quarter of 2015. Excellence SA has received notification of the court registration of the merger of Kleina spółka komandytowo-akcyjna with Ciecierska spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, as a result of which Ciecierska Sp. z o.o. now holds over 90% of the total votes in Excellence S.A.

In the fourth quarter of 2015, Excellence SA achieved sales revenue of PLN 9.84 million, an increase of 6.4% compared to Q4 2014. In the second quarter of 2015, Excellence SA achieved revenue of PLN 9.14 million, a 15% decrease compared to the revenue of the second quarter of 2014. The net profit for the second quarter of 2015 amounted to PLN 506,000, lower than the result achieved in the second quarter of 2014, which amounted to PLN 1,041,000. The lower revenue in the second quarter of 2015 compared to the second quarter of 2014 was due to lower orders received from retail chains, which were partially due to less favorable weather conditions in the second quarter of 2015 compared to the second quarter of 2014, as well as later orders placed by retail chains for summer promotions compared to orders placed in the second quarter of 2014.

The net profit for the fourth quarter of 2014 amounted to PLN 259,000, significantly higher than the result achieved in the fourth quarter of 2013, when the company incurred a loss. The net profit for the fourth quarter of 2014 is particularly satisfactory given the significant costs incurred during this period related to the development of a new business in the dietary supplement segment and the production of a dietary supplement registered as a medical device, Excellent Collagen Complex. After four quarters of 2014, Excellence SA achieved sales revenue of PLN 34,377,000, a 14.6% increase compared to the revenue after the first four quarters of 2013. The share of products sold under the Excellence brand has increased to 5% of the Polish market (according to AC Nielsen, by volume for the period from October 2013 to September 2014). This year, the Excellence brand is the stronger and more frequently chosen Polish fruit syrup brand by consumers. The manufacturer ranking (according to AC Nielsen) shows that the share of products sold under retail chains’ own brands is 27.3%, of which, according to Excellence data, nearly 20% are products manufactured by Excellence SA.

Excellence generated sales revenue of PLN 25.13 million and a net profit of PLN 1.48 million in the first three quarters of this year.
