The History of Excellence
Excellence was established in 1992. It was then that Marcin Ciecierski, known for his passion for sailing, a lover of nature and animals, founded a trading and service company. Over the last few decades, Excellence has gone a long way from a one-man, small company to a large, innovative brand competing for the lead position in the production of juices and syrups - both in the Polish and foreign markets.
The development of juice and syrup production
The company has gained extensive experience over many years, looking for new solutions and the best recipes. By 2002, Excellence was producing several types of syrups. A qualified team of employees, knowledge of the market, as well as new improvements and perfected production techniques allowed the company to continuously develop in all areas of its activity.
Cooperation with the largest retail chains
The experience gained, numerous awards, and the BRC quality certificate allowed us to start working together with the largest retail chains in Poland. Simultaneously with the development of proprietary recipes and building its own brand, Excellence has also become one of the leading suppliers of syrups for chains such as: Tesco, Lidl, Auchan, Carrefour, Piotr i Paweł, and many others.
2011 - 2012
Transformation into a joint stock company
In 2011, the Excellence was transformed into a limited liability company, and in 2012 transformed into a joint stock company, so that in 2014 Excellence could debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on the NewConnect market.
2013 - 2014
New technologies and equipment
Systematic investment in modern equipment and machinery contributed to broadening our product range and improving its quality. In 2014, the company obtained EU funds for equipping its own laboratory with an Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatograph, a laminar flow cabinet and incubators necessary to control raw materials in terms of pesticides content, exclude food contamination, and confirm the microbiological purity of products.
2015 - 2016
Participation in trade fairs
The company received further quality certificates, including IFS, positively passed the FDA audit and received a number of awards such as Solidna Firma [Reliable Company], Przedsiębiorstwo Fair Play [Fair Play Company] and the title of "Business Gazelle". In order to expand into foreign markets, Excellence participated in international fairs in the Netherlands, Germany, China and India.
The introduction of BIO products
In line with the market trends, both in Poland and abroad, Excellence entered a new stage of the company's development in 2017. Organic products have been added to the rich collection of traditional syrups. The company increased its sterilization capabilities thanks to a high-pressure autoclave, in which a short time of exposure to high temperatures allows for better preservation of the natural value of the products.
Currently, the company places even greater emphasis on environmental awareness and health, which is reflected in the creation of the new line of I am Bio products: syrups, juices and mousses. Excellence is constantly improving its range of products - a diverse assortment provides customers with the widest possible choice.
